We are seeking a motivated Gas Distribution Apprentice to undertake a Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry Operations over a three-year program. This program will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified professionals while attending our registered training provider to complete your certification. The apprenticeship will be based at Cardiff, with most days spent in the field. You will also attend our Greystanes depot at various intervals for training.During the program, you will be a valued member of our team, participating in workplace rotations and experiencing a variety of work environments within the gas supply industry, enhancing your skills and career development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintenance of high, medium, and low-pressure natural gas networksPatrol and maintenance of pipeline right-of-waysStrategic response to leak reports and other emergenciesRepair and maintenance of pipeline coatings, valves, and mechanical equipmentLiaison with landholders and public authoritiesPromote and drive a safety cultureA wide variety of duties including mechanical activities, weed control, erosion control, documentation, and records maintenanceAbout YouThis is an exciting time for our industry, and we would love to share this journey with someone committed and eager to learn.
