We are seeking a motivated Trainee Line Design Surveyor to undertake a Certificate IV in Surveying over a two-year program. This program will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification. The location for this traineeship will be based at Broadmeadows, however, much of your time will be spent out in the field. During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will experience a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.Key responsibilities include:Develop an in-depth knowledge of overhead line design survey principles, VESI standards, and industry governing regulations.Plan and coordinate with Project Manager requests, a range of line surveying work across the electricity distribution network.Conduct as-built field audits to distribution construction standards and report findings.Manage project definition, project scope, reporting, and financial control of projects.Maintain and update database management systems with respect to survey projects and their progress.About YouThis is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn.
