This is a critical position in our Sydney Light Rail project supporting the maintenance of trams and carrying out preventative maintenance programmes and the repair of the Power Supply equipment. You will also regularly monitor Power Supply defects and failures, and liaise with key stakeholders, suppliers & sub-contractors. This role will be on a rotating roster which includes, morning shifts 6am-2pm, afternoon shifts 2pm-10pm and night shifts 10pm-6am across weekdays and weekends.As an Electrical Apprentice you will support our maintenance technicians with:Maintaining Power Supply equipment in accordance with specified proceduresPerforming fault troubleshooting, investigations and diagnostic testsMitigating the risk of in-service failures through proactive interventionInstalling system hardware and software upgradesPerforming isolation as necessaryReporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
