Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating, streamlining and improving the recruitment process and workflows, in support of the rest of the Talent Acquisition team;Working with the rest of the team to continue to modernise, uplift and evolve the way the firm hires, including reviewing all aspects of the recruitment process;Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on recruitment metrics and activities;Maintaining and updating the ATS to ensure use to its full capability to manage all recruitment;Running the end-to-end recruitment of casual paralegal and other junior level positions across the firm;Preparation of / drafting position descriptions and job advertisements, in consultation with hiring partners/managers and the rest of the P&C team;Posting jobs across various job boards and platforms, through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS);Screening applications to identify high quality and best-fit candidates;Undertaking phone screening of candidates;Scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and agencies and the hiring team, including meeting room and MS Teams bookings, and managing the firms Careers calendar and inbox in Outlook;Collating and providing prompt feedback to candidates;Conducting reference checks (both verbal and in writing);Processing recruitment-related invoices in Chrome River;Involvement in project work, including the implementation and integration of a new ATS;Assisting the rest of the Talent Acquisition team with talent market mapping, direct sourcing and LinkedIn searches;Liaising with external recruitment agencies, as appropriate;Liaising and developing relationships with service providers as required (including LinkedIn and Seek);Working with the P&C generalist coordinators to generate employment offers and relevant documentation and to facilitate onboarding;Staying informed on industry and talent acquisition trends to continuously improve processes and procedures; andOther recruitment related projects and responsibilities from time to time as they arise.About youYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:A tertiary qualification (e.g. Bachelor or Diploma) in human resources or a related field;At least two years of experience in a similar role (in talent acquisition/recruitment, in-house within a law firm or in professional services, or within a recruitment agency);Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);A solid understanding of recruitment processes, techniques and best practices;Skills and experience that support the continuous improvement and development of talent acquisition processes, workflows, systems and technology;Experience scheduling interviews and managing calendars/diaries in Microsoft Outlook;Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other social media tools and applicant tracking systems, as well as HRIS systems, is preferred, however not essential;Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and demands;Outstanding attention to detail;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport and build relationships with stakeholders;A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and cooperatively as part of a collegiate and supportive team;A focus on client service and a high level of professionalism;Strong ethics and integrity and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; andA passion for talent acquisition, curiosity, agility and a growth mindset.About usHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
