Oversee Estimating works on Power and High Voltage projects.20th January, 2025About RP InfrastructureRP Infrastructure (RPI) is one of Australias leading Project Management and Advisory practices, renowned for delivering complex and high-profile projects across the Public and Private sectors.With a strong focus on quality and collaboration, we provide Advisory, Project Management, and Asset Management services across the entire Infrastructure spectrum.Specializing in sectors such as Education, Civic & Culture, Accommodation, Health/Aged Care, Sports & Recreation, Justice, Retail, Industrial, Aviation, Roads, Rail, and Ports, were committed to delivering extraordinary outcomes by turning visions into reality innovatively and sustainably.Role DescriptionIn preparation for an exciting year ahead, were inviting expressions of interest from experienced Senior Estimators keen to discuss opportunities to contribute to estimating, constructability, and programming for projects in the Electrical sector, with a focus on Power and High Voltage.As a Senior Estimator at RPI, your responsibilities will include:Preparing detailed cost estimates for Energy projects, covering materials, labour, staffing, and other project-related overheads.Reviewing project plans and scopes of work to identify key requirements and challenges, ensuring financial viability and informed decision-making.Maintaining up-to-date market knowledge and fostering relationships with suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to validate estimates, mitigate risks, and monitor pricing trends.Supporting bid preparation and proposals, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data is presented to clients and project teams.Delivering detailed cost reports and insights to stakeholders, including actionable recommendations.Candidate ProfileTo excel in this role, youll need demonstrated experience as a Senior Estimator in the Energy sector, along with:Expertise in Substation, High Voltage, or Power projects.Experience with Power Transmission projects in an Estimating capacity.A deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and associated costs for Power and High Voltage works.Strong analytical skills and the ability to critically assess information.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.Whats in It for You?This is a fantastic opportunity to elevate your career within a growing Advisory business.
