Listed By: Swinburne University of Technology on 24 Jan 2025Lecturer position in Psychology at Swinburne UniversityFull-time and part-time (ongoing) opportunities at our Hawthorn campusAcademic Level B salary + 17% superannuation and staff benefitsAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a Lecturer to join the Department of Psychological Sciences at Swinburne University on a full-time or part-time basis (job share arrangement is available).As a Lecturer in Psychology, you will contribute to teaching duties in the postgraduate clinical psychology programs at Swinburne and will provide clinical supervision to postgraduate students in the Psychology Clinic. You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting sessional and other teaching staff to ensure a high-quality teaching experience for students and will also develop and manage industry partnerships and conduct research.About YouTo be suitable for this role, you will have the following key accountabilities:Contribute to teaching in clinical psychology, including preparing and delivering seminars, tutorials, practical classes, and assessments.Assist in the development of innovative teaching and learning methods, including online and other modern pedagogies in teaching and learning.Maintain the quality of the programs through program review and meeting industry and accreditation needs, educational requirements and quality standards.Develop a network of contacts to support and contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the programs.Contribute to the research activities and outputs of the Department of Psychological Sciences.Provide clinical supervision to postgraduate clinical psychology students to support them toward achieving competencies in line with APAC accreditation standard and course objectives.QualificationsA Doctoral degree (PhD or DPsych) or a demonstrated case of equivalent research and advanced training in clinical psychology practice.Registration with AHPRA with endorsement in Clinical Psychology.Psychology Board Australia approved supervisor status.To ApplyPlease submit your CV, Cover Letter and Responses to the Key Selection Criteria.If you are viewing this advert from an external site, please copy and paste the following link: and you will be redirected to Swinburne''s Job website.Applications Close: Sunday, 23 February 2025 at 11:30pm.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
