We invest in technology to dramatically reduce greenhouse gases and environmental degradation to protect the planet for future generations.About the RoleReporting into the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will play a key role in assisting Repurpose It with managing all Procurement activity across each of our sites. Working across the entire procurement lifecycle, this position will manage a large volume of vendors and be skilled in negotiating with the same to ensure best outcomes for our business. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced Procurement Manager and to advance your career in this area!The responsibilities of the role are varied, however, the main responsibilities are:Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and their ability to meet requirements.Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service, monitor their performance, and conduct regular reviews / feedback sessions.Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers effectively and confidently, ensuring best outcomes for the business.Identify and implement methods to streamline and improve procurement processes.Build models such as costing models in excel and utilise tools such as pivot tables and advanced queries to provide commentary on this data.The ability to present information to internal stakeholders, and manage all procurement related queries.Prepare and distribute procurement reports across the business, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, such as contracts and tender documents.This is a full-time, ongoing position, with an immediate start available based in Epping. Please note, this is a site-based position.About youThis is a very fast-paced role, and so requires a Procurement Officer with experience operating in a similar environment, whilst managing a large number of vendors across multiple business units. Advanced Excel skills are critical, as the Procurement Officer will be building models in excel and utilising features such as pivot tables, advanced queries, and if/and or statements. The ability to provide qualitative feedback from quantitative information is key!The following skills and experience are also required for this role:Tertiary qualification in Procurement or a related disciplineProven prior experience in a similar role (5 years+)Experience in sourcing activities, category management, and supporting strategic procurement initiativesExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersThe ability to work confidently with people at all levelsDemonstrated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and policiesAn approachable, enthusiastic and honest approachA valid Victorian Drivers LicensePlease note that the successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check prior to an offer of employment.Why Repurpose It?Here at Repurpose It we genuinely live by our values of integrity, future-focused, sustainability and care & protect.
