We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.Permanent Part TimeFull Time at 64hrs per f/nClinical Nurse Consultant C- ZA7Multiple SitesDepartmentThe Diabetes and Endocrine Unit, part of the Alfred Specialty Medicine Program.Position SummaryThe Diabetes and Endocrine Unit has an exciting opportunity for a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) position. It is a permanent, part-time position with a ZA7 classification.The Alfred Specialty Medicine Program within the Operations division comprises six clinical units including Clinical Genetics and Genomics, Dermatology, Endocrine and Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Renal, and Rheumatology. The program provides admitted services including multi-day (Ward 4WA) and Same Day Dialysis services (The Alfred, Caulfield, and Sandringham campuses), and specialist outpatient and ambulatory services.This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Diabetes Educator to join the team at Alfred Health.The Diabetes CNC is a member of the Alfred Health Endocrinology and Diabetes Education Team, working collaboratively throughout Alfred Health to contribute to the care of a specific patient group, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.The Diabetes CNC will demonstrate superior clinical expertise promoting best practice evidence-based care while acting as a resource for specialty advice throughout the hospital.
