NOT FOR PROFIT: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2649 paOPERATIONAL HOURS: Permanent Full Time. 8.54am to 5.00pm Monday to FridayDo you want to improve your skills or kickstart your career within Employment Services?About the JobAs an Employment Consultant you will use your skills to support and guide clients to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. You will use your customer service skills to build rapport with your clients, assist them on their employment journey and to overcome barriers to employment.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program with MatchWorks.Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies.In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities.Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.Skills & ExperienceYou are self-driven, resilient, hungry to succeed & experienced in Customer Service (Retail, Hospitality or other). You love a challenge, fast-paced environments, and move agilely through your to-do list.Strong communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy & note taking.Build rapport, grow & maintain relationships with clients, peers, & jobseekers.Enjoy achieving KPIs we arent selling cars; we are securing meaningful work for vulnerable individuals.Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or are willing to obtain one.Benefits & CultureAs a part of genU, MatchWorks are a group of passionate, driven people who want everyones lives to be happier and healthier, especially people with disabilities, the ageing and those experiencing disadvantage.
