Join GWW, in one of these four newly created roles!As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our technology changes. You will assist in developing and maintaining our testing and assurance practice, ensuring that all technology changes meet our quality standards before release. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Testing and Assurance plans for both projects and BAU changes, encompassing various testing methodologies.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop test plans based on functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories, or acceptance criteria for projects and BAU activities.Create, update, and refine test cases to accommodate changes in system functionality.Collaborate with development teams to prioritise and resolve defects, log defects and track progress, and retest resolved defects and verify that they meet the required quality standards.Develop and execute automated test scripts for using the appropriate framework and integrate with CI/CD pipeline (e.g., webdriver.io, Karate, Azure DevOps).Continuously assess the effectiveness of testing processes and suggest improvements.Identify potential risks in test coverage or project delivery and escalate them to the relevant stakeholders.Prepare test reports, including test summary reports, defect reports, weekly status reports, and execution status.Skills & ExperienceExperience with Test Management tools such as Xray/Jira.Deep understanding of various testing methodologies such as manual testing, automated testing, and exploratory testing in complex enterprise landscape.Experienced in API testing tools such as Postman and/or Karate BDD for validating integrations created via BOOMI middleware.Experience in developing automated scripts for regression testing and improve automated test coverage.Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD tools) to manage and automate test execution, maintain version control, track defect resolution, and integrate automated testing within DevOps workflows, ensuring efficient delivery cycles in an Agile environment.Ability to apply risk-based testing strategies to prioritize testing efforts in high-impact areas, such as regulatory compliance, data security, and financial reporting.Understanding of performance testing tools such as J Meter, security testing practices and Disaster Recovery Testing practices.Understanding of SDLC methodology in Agile and waterfall environments.Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in IT related discipline.Proven ability to navigate complex technical landscapes and adapt to rapidly changing environments, combined with a proactive approach to evolving priorities and adhering to deadlines.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships through strong communication and consultation skills.Effective communication skills, complimented by the ability to present information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.See yourself thrive!Our vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
