Job Description

Journey Early Learning is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our team to support the day-to-day delivery of facility management across our Early Learning Centres.About the roleYou will work closely with our small but mighty Asset team, our Centres and contracted resources in a role that strongly focuses on administration, process, planning, coordination, and execution of work that underpins service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Management of all centre-based preventive, planned, unplanned and breakdown maintenance.Coordination of projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.Manage the Facilities Help Desk, act as the first point of contact for maintenance requests.Coordinate and schedule tradespeople to complete works and follow up to ensure jobs are completed at a high level.Assist in the development and management of the facilitys budget, including tracking expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and supplies.Update databases and systems to reflect facility works, tracking their progress.Process invoices, and generate internal department reports.Liaise with Lessor as required, consent for works, follow ups, and responding to requests.Coordinate administration and works required for property insurance matters and claims.Establish and maintain Essential services and other property service contracts.About youPrevious experience in a Building, Property or Facilities related role.Proven experience in coordinating projects from beginning to completion.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build strong working relationships.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High level administration and time management skills.Demonstrated initiative with the ability to problem solve.Competency in using Operating systems and Applications.High value on teamwork and collaboration, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.What we offer:Our people are at the heart of our success and in shaping our childrens future.
