Due to continued growth, a position is available for a Field Service Technician to join our team based in Melbourne (Hallam).Our service department supports a large variety of communication products & associated peripherals. We provide services to a diverse customer base requiring the Field Service Technician to be able to demonstrate a dynamic skills approach. You will work with & support other business units to deliver timely, quality & professional outcomes to our customers.The following experience and qualifications will be desirable:Trade Certificate in Communications/Electronics/Radio or strong industry experienceExperience with civil build projects (e.g., communication towers, microwave systems, power systems, generator and solar maintenance and installations).Knowledge of digital and analogue radio technologiesUnderstanding of basic IP networking and IP linkingIT and IP Networking of Layer 2/3 networking (Addressing, subnet VLANS etc)Experience in installation, maintenance and programming of radio technologies (e.g. Motorola, Tait, Icom, Kenwood)Rigging qualifications (Training available for the right candidate)Able to participate in a 24/7 on-call (rotating basis)White card, Working at heights & EWP (High-Risk License)Valid Drivers LicenseAbout You:As a Field Service Technician, you will be able to demonstrate the key qualities required of a person to succeed in the ever-growing industries we service.
