Clinical Care Coordinator - ST JudesProgress with purpose at one of Australias largest health care providersGet ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environmentFull time permanent position based in Narre Warren NorthAbout the roleThe Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for leading both the clinical and care teams across the home, in consultation with the Home Manager, to ensure the needs of each resident are being met and the team understand who the residents are including their identity, culture, diversity, beliefs and life experiences.Your main duties will include:The Clinical Care Coordinator will play a key role in the clinical governance of the home and may be required to undertake a specialist clinical portfolio to support the homes needs, examples include education, palliative care and infection control.The position of Clinical Care Coordinator is part of an integrated team of people working within an established and agreed framework supporting the resident to live their best life.About youRegistered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).A minimum of 3 years experience in a management role within the aged care sector with a successful and proven track record.High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the aged care sector with the ability to identify changing trends and to ensure best practice.An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing with excellent presentation skills.Understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills.Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new skills as required.Current National police check.Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.For further information please contact: Jayson Vinod at Jayson.Vinod@calvarycare.org.auWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
