There''s still a lot of work ahead of us, so were always on the lookout for creative, resourceful, and resilient people that can quickly learn new skills andadapt on the fly.Catch is currently seeking a Team Leader in our Moorebank FC.The Team Leader plays a key role in supporting the Supervisor in running the day-to-day operations of the site by ensuring the team members can operate and work safely. Through training and development to ensure that processes and procedures are followed so the teams can achieve their required KPIs, allowing the site to meet its service and financial performance targets.What youll be doingWhat does a normal day in the life of a Team Leader look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things:Accountable for site safety through induction, implementation and evaluation of safe work practices, improving safety performance and celebrating safety achievementsIdentify, investigate and report hazards and Incidents, resolving hazards were possible and escalating as required.Assist in the implementation of emergency response and building evacuationsDrive positive, open & honest safety cultureMaintains strong working relationships with the workforce to resolve issues effectivelyAccountable for building a strong team ethos that facilitates continuous improvement and the creation of a high performing culture by encouraging input, recognising performances, and empowering team members to take responsibility for outcomesCollaborate with Supervisors with running toolbox meetings and development of standard operating proceduresProvide a clear focus on performance management and career development in accordance with Catch Values and BehavioursEnsure all team members are inducted prior to the commencement of work on the site and that all compliance training is assigned and completed successfully on siteAccountable for delegating and managing deadlines for work performedMaintain records of work performed to facilitate feedback to team members and reporting of Key Performance IndicatorsAccountable for own and team compliance with Company policies, the Code of Conduct, Awards, EEO and all other applicable legislationIntegrate compliance requirements into business strategy, planning, processes and decision-making and manage the resolution of compliance issuesEnsure that site activities are aligned with the fulfilment of Catch cost control strategies ensuring they are followed, by utilising Warehouse Management Systems and processesThe skills you''ll haveCertification / Qualification in Logistics or Warehouse Management or in a related discipline OR prepared to undertake such study to compliment the role and the business requirements.Occupational, Health & Safety knowledge with experience in Chain Of Responsibility (COR)Holds a drivers License would be preferredPreferably holds or has a willingness to acquire their fork lift operating licenseLean qualifications would be highly regardedDemonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver safety, financial and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Strong Team player with experience in building a high performing team and maximising team performanceProven interpersonal skills, ability to coach and counsel Team MembersDemonstrated leadership, relationship building, communication, influencing and teamwork skillsCapacity to be an effective and positive change agent, continuous improvement of championing innovation experience.Proven to be effective with stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively cross functionAble to make and execute considered decisions while managing multiple task and under pressure in a fast-moving business environmentAn understanding of financial metrics within supply chain and retail in generalAbility to relocate internally within the organisation would be highly regardedStrong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and process with the ability to Identify opportunities for Improvement which are solution orientated and with a keen eye for detailConfident and comfortable utilising Microsoft excelExceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, professionalism and work ethicWhy join the Catch team?Theres never been a more exciting time to join the Catch Team!!Its a fun, challenging and uniquely different place to work and on top of that we offer a range of benefits including:Employee Assistance Program: Comprehensive wellbeing support for both employees and their immediate families.Extended Parental Leave: Benefit from 16 weeks of leave for primary carers and additional paid volunteer days.Exclusive Perks: Take advantage of a OnePass subscription and a Team Member discount card.At Catch, we welcome all applications and screen them without attention to race, age, beliefs, sex, orientation, gender identity and disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
