Were currently on the hunt for an experienced Repair Coordinator, to join our team in Altona/Victoria. In this role, youll manage all aspects of home insurance claims from lodgment through to repair and claim completion and to be the primary point of contact for BBS customers and other stakeholders throughout the claim process. This role is customer service driven ensuring all clients have a positive experience with Beacon Building Services.Responsibilities:Coordinate all aspects of insurance claims from lodgment to completion including processing assessor reports and estimates, arranging sub-contractors for repair work, invoicing and keeping our workflow system up to date at all times with claim progress in line with our clients systems.Coordinate and manage diaries of BBS supervisors with appointment offerings to clients.Coordinate trades to make repairs as required where works have been approved and prioritize urgent matters such as plumbing & electrical as required.Prepare and send purchase orders for works to be completed.Monitor work by trades to keep within time frame agreed.General office administration as required.Invoicing - Cost control and processing invoices for our accounts staff.Perform under pressure and during CAT events/storms and assist all areas of BBS including insurance, home warranty as required.Keep customers informed and respond to queries or concerns with diligence and professionalism.Liaise with clients to maintain harmonious relationships and provide accurate information throughout the warranty period.Liaise with sub-contractors, responding to trade enquiries and keeping repairs on track through effective planning and communication.About you:At least 2 years experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of domestic insurance claims industry and procedures.Transferable experience gained in a similar role in the insurance industry.Be a driven person, great time management, highly organized and have strong attention to detail.Be an innovative, proactive and responsive person.Great negotiation skills, ability to lead, plan and manage change.Work collaboratively with a team within an office setting.Great positive communication skills and ability to build relationships with strata, insurance companies, intermediaries, property managers and government departments.If you feel that you have the necessary skills and 100% commitment level to become a part of the Beacon Building Services team as our newest Repair Coordinator, apply today!Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAdministrativeIndustriesInsurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
