Legal 1 - Executive Level 1 (Senior Lawyer), APS Level 4, APS Level 5, APS Level 6 (Lawyers)$82,204 to $144,064The TGA is seeking talented and enthusiastic Lawyers (APS4-APS6) and Senior Lawyers (EL1) for various roles with our Dispute Resolution & Litigation and Compliance and Enforcement teams, focusing on vaping-related matters. Dispute Resolution & Litigation team members will have carriage of, or assist with, matters in the Federal Court (including civil penalty, judicial review, and forfeiture proceedings), manage, assist or appear in the Administrative Review Tribunal, and advise on briefs to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. Compliance and Enforcement team members will advise on suspected vaping-related contraventions and offences, warrant and other evidence gathering powers and operations (including sensitive law enforcement activity), and enforcement and compliance options (including referrals for prosecution or civil penalty, forfeiture, enforceable directions, and infringement notices).
