We provide dynamic and personalised support to children and adults with disability, whom we support and empower to live the life they choose.You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team not only in your local area, but you also become part of the wider therapy teams across QLD/NSW/ACT.We have a family-friendly workplace with flexible hours for you to manage your home and work lives effectively.We are very happy to discuss working from home when appropriate to your caseload, or a 9-day fortnight if you prefer.We have formalised supervision, peer-to-peer support, and attendance at regular therapy forums, as well as structured internal training and support.You will have 2 weeks paid Professional Development leave (pro rata for part time) including some funding towards approved courses, seminars, etc.5 weeks paid annual leave and additional paid parental leave.As a not-for-profit, we are able to offer salary sacrifice as well as a number of other employee benefits, such as discounted gym & health fund membership, discounted motor vehicle services, and entertainment cards.In this role you will:Provide a high-quality Speech Pathology assessment and intervention service that is evidence-based and solutions-focused.Manage a mixed caseload with complex and varied needs.Be able to work with customers of all ages, their families, and carers to identify strengths, skills, and goals.Use appropriate assessment tools and methods to assess strengths and areas of development, in order to identify suitable intervention strategies.Be able to deliver therapy in a variety of environments, e.g. centre-based, schools/preschools, group homes, homes, and via telehealth.Demonstrate and embody Northcott values: innovative, respectful, and brave.Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills within the Speech Pathology profession.Requirements:Ability to enter and work in Australia under approved employer sponsored visa types.Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.Current SPA registration (or registration in progress).Experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent, and/or adult caseload.Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient, and effective manner.An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee-for-service model is desired.Be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.NDIS Worker Check & WWCC (or willingness to obtain).Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) or willingness to obtain.Covid Vaccination StatusThe health and safety of our people, customers, and communities is our number one priority.
