Working as an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant is truly rewarding. Support highly motivated Defence members throughout their rehabilitation journey. Assisting to get their Defence career back on track or transition into civilian life.ResponsibilitiesConducting workplace assessments on tanks, artillery guns and other Army vehicles.Exploring field environments, to observe Defence personnel training their recruits and practicing for combat situations.Building relationships with the health centre staff and workplace supervisors at Puckapunyal to be a valued resource and subject matter expert in Occupational Rehabilitation for the ADF.Taking a more holistic care approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing.Utilising your clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people suffering from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses, or trauma.Developing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physios, Psychologists, etc.).Location and Work HoursLocated at one of Australia''s most well-known and highly regarded Army Bases, Puckapunyal, colloquially known as "Pucka". Enjoy early starts and early finishes with set working hours 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Puckapunyal Health Centre is 10 minutes from Seymour and straight up the Hume Hwy from Melbourne. If you''re not local to the area, relocation assistance may be provided.Minimum RequirementsCurrent unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, or Nursing.Clinical reasoning.Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.Passion to help people rehabilitate.Australian Citizenship.Occupational Rehabilitation Experience is highly regarded.Join UsExperts in workplace health, injury management, and safety, Acumen Health delivers the highest standard in services across personal injury and occupational health.
