You will actively contribute to the development of best practice and evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols ensuring the service meets the National Safety and Quality Standards. Patient-centred care will come naturally to you, and you will provide consistent communication regarding patients condition, progress and recommendations with the multidisciplinary team.In this role, you will report to the Allied Health Manager who is supportive and will empower you to excel in this role. This is a permanent part-time position working two 6-hour shifts per week.Who were looking for:Youll have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or as another Health Professional with a minimum of 4 years experience.Youll hold a post-graduate qualification in Diabetes Education, with thorough knowledge of diabetes and therapy methods.Youll have experience working within an acute care setting and can work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.Youll have sound time management and organisational skills and be adaptable to shifting patient priorities.Youll be a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Youll have full Australian working rights.About Us:Adventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
