Reporting to the Supportability Engineering Lead, you will be employed on a permanent full time basis, based at either Osborne Adelaide or Melbourne CBD locations. There is also the flexibility for the position to be performed at other interstate locations.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.BAE Systems Maritime Australia (formerly known as ASC Shipbuilding), has been contracted to design and deliver the world''s most advanced anti-submarine warfare frigates to the Royal Australian Navy. The Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) will create and sustain more than 5,000 jobs across BAE Systems and the wider Australian Defence supply chain over the life of the program.Key responsibilities include:Perform a range of condition monitoring/asset performance analyst activitiesCo-ordinate the incorporation of condition monitoring equipment into platform and system designsCollaborate effectively and build good relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive cultureLiaise with the engineering analysis and maintenance teams, providing advice and support on the application of condition monitoring techniques on the Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysisAssist in the development and integration of the condition monitoring/asset performance solution for the naval shipMaintain and update the condition monitoring/asset performance documentation suite including maturing the condition monitoring signal listLiaise with system designers to ensure that condition monitoring equipment signals are made available to the platform management systems and additional condition monitoring sensors are incorporated into the designAbout YOUAsset Performance Analyst experience, or Condition Monitoring Analyst experience, or Electrical technical experienceRelevant experience in a technical or production environmentSelf-motivated, the ability to adapt and learn, and the ability to work effectively autonomously and in a team environmentGood problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret maintenance informationWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don''t tick all the boxes.
