A professional and loving family in Tamborine, QLD are seeking a friendly and experienced nanny to assist with the household and care for their four happy and active children (11 and 7 year old girls, and 7 and 5 year old boys).An ideal nanny will be nurturing and calm natured. A mature nanny with life experience, able to work using her own initiative with minimal instruction and possess the ability to see tasks that will assist the household to run smoothly. Able to work with the childrens routines, have good organisational skills to manage the busy afternoons, and be experienced supporting children to manage afternoon activities, chores, and homework.The role will mostly consist of arriving at the home to complete household tasks, prepare snacks and meals, run errands, pick the children up from school, transport to activities, engage with the children, have a break, and then work on homework and prepare the evening meal.The family is looking for someone who will assist in creating structure, setting clear boundaries, and being a positive influence within the home.Prior experience as a house manager and working with large families would be advantageous for this role.Reliability, excellent communication skills, and professionalism are also valued. (Strong English skills are required for good communication).Please note: The girls are with their mother every second week so on the week the girls are not around there will be more housekeeping to fill in the day.The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To supervise the childrenFollow the childrens routinesPick up from school (on occasion depending on parents schedule)Engage with the childrenLight household duties e.g. laundry, tidying childrens rooms, getting uniforms organised for the following day, folding and putting away childrens clothes and organising their rooms, minor cleaning like tidying kitchen after use etc.Cook for the children and on occasion a family mealTransport to after school activities i.e. swimming, touch football, tennis etc.Assist with homeworkGrocery pick-ups and running errands on occasionWalk the dogsContract length: Permanent / long term / ongoingPay: Negotiable for the right candidate full time contract with perks and benefitsNote: Full drivers licence required (to drive family vehicle)The days and normal hours are: 5 daysMonday Friday 11am 6pmMore hours can be offered in the school holidaysThe familys expectations from their nanny are:Must have a minimum of 5 years nanny / household manager experienceHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Blue CardDisplay strong communication skills and speak English to a high levelFull licence / good driving record (no provisional licences)A good / confident cookComfortable with dogsJob Reference: LLT224Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form. #J-18808-Ljbffr
