Your plumbing qualification would be extremely advantageous.How would you use your skills?As a Water Operator, youre regularly outdoors. You will be repairing water and wastewater assets within the Goldfields and Agricultural Region.Your main concern is keeping your districts water supply network running. This will involve pipe repairs, chlorinator maintenance including chemical replenishment, and water service installs and disconnections. You will also need to understand how these networks help your community get access to clean running water every day.You will be playing a big part in maintaining some of the 56,800km of pipelines that stretch across WA.Mix in a supportive, family-friendly culture, a healthy starting salary, and a stack of fantastic benefits - and you will have just found yourself a career with Water Corporation.What youll need to applyYou will be doing some driving, so a WA MR class drivers licence will be essential. If youve got a high-risk licence, confined space cert, and/or a construction white card, youve probably got some experience working outdoors. Thats a good thing.No water experience? No problem.
