Apply now and be part of the "Rebirth of a Sydney Icon" with us!Job DescriptionResponsible for assistance with managing group bookings of 10 rooms or more that do not require catering (with the exception of breakfast and group dinner booking).Preparation of group information sheets (group movements) and briefing of Hotel stakeholders prior to the arrival of the group.Manage group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, terms, and conditions.Maintain control of guest history and report to the Group Reservations Executive and Reservations Manager.Ensure a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests or other reservation-related matters.Assist the FIT Reservations team to ensure all Reservations checklists are accurately actioned within the same working day.Assist the FIT Reservations team to answer all calls promptly using specific greetings for hotels.Assist the FIT Reservations team to process and input FIT and corporate reservations following hotel policy.QualificationsPrevious experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.Proficiency in Hotel PMS systems, such as Opera and Opera Cloud is favorable.Additional InformationIn addition to joining a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, we offer industry-leading rewards such as:Collaborative and supportive environment.Industry benefits from Day 1 including exclusive discounts on accommodation, dining, bars, and more in over 100 countries with Accor Hotels and our partners.Progressive leave policies including 10 weeks parental leave.Complimentary dry cleaning & discounted city parking.We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.
