DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assume Engineer of Record role for Electrical DisciplineProvide overall direction for the design team from inception to completion on a project specific basisDesign of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial facilitiesDesign of overall power distribution systemPerform calculations to support system designsPerform CA tasks, review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend CA meetingsConduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observationsManage assigned projects including coordination and or direction for design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basisPlan, schedule, conduct, and or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work while maintaining quality standards on all projectsLead design and construction meetingsPrepare proposals and reports for small and large projectsBuild relationships and use networking to acquire new business opportunitiesAs other duties assignedReady to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENTENCIES:Proven track record of completing projects, strong project planning and delivery experienceStrong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communicationTeam-oriented, hands-on, adaptive and client focusedAbility to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgencyTECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:Advance knowledge of AutoCAD, and RevitProficient in BluebeamProficient in MS Office Suite to include, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPointEXPERIENCE: 5+ years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firmLEED accreditation is highly desiredProficient project management including managing work to produce projects on schedule and within budgetProficient interpersonal skills and experience helping maintain successful client relationshipsProficient in planning and organizational skillsREQUIREMENTS:Current PE certificationCurrent valid driver's license and insurable driving record
