Denk Associates is experienced in historic renovations and sustainable design, with numerous awards and certifications, including multiple LEED Platinum certified projects.Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.Electrical Engineer / Electrical DesignerOur engineering team is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer or experienced Electrical Designer.The Electrical Engineer / Electrical Designer will work directly with the architectural clients and fellow engineers to develop designs, drawings, specifications, and reports. The Electrical Engineer / Electrical Designer shall work independently and be part of a multi-discipline team to produce electrical engineering documents for commercial buildings.Electrical design and engineering includes system design for commercial buildings, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, hospitality facilities, and multi-family residential occupancies. An Electrical Engineer and/or Electrical Designer is responsible for producing construction drawings, specifications, and details utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, Visual Lighting Design, and various other industry software packages. The Electrical Engineer/Electrical Designer shall have working knowledge and the ability to interpret, apply, and complete electrical designs in accordance with industry codes including, but not limited to, Ohio Building Code, National Electrical Code, NFPA-72, and NFPA-101.Responsibilities include adherence to company drawing and design guidelines and complete layouts, calculations, and system designs. Responsibilities shall include system design and physical equipment coordination, routing, distribution, and device layouts with other disciplines, Architects, and Building Owners.The ideal candidate will possess:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Five or more years of experience is preferred.AutoCAD experience is required, with Revit and/or BIM experience a plus.Candidate should be able to effectively communicate technical concepts with piers and clients.Candidate should understand lighting, communication, and power distribution system design, electrical, lighting and communication equipment.Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with sustainable design and green technologies is a plus.A valid driver's license is required.Compensation and Benefits Package:Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.PTO accrual every pay period begins immediately, Health Insurance, Vision Plan, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Tuition Reimbursement, and 401(k) with matching/company contribution.Denk Associates works a 40-hour week with half-day Fridays year-round.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, but travel and relocation costs are not covered.DENK ASSOCIATES CONSULTING ENGINEERS503 East 200th Street | Cleveland, OH 44119Web:
