Job Description

Responsibilities:Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Implement and maintain security controls, such as access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development and deployment lifecycle.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and recommend security improvements to management.Configuring and managing Splunk for log collection, monitoring, and analysis.Configuring and managing common security tools such as Trellix, Wazuh, Nessus, and Prisma Cloud / TwistockFamiliarity with AWS and AWS Security, including AWS Security Best Practices and compliance with AWS security standards.Experience with AWS security services such as IAM, Cognito, Inspector, and Config.Knowledge of AWS architecture and ability to design and implement secure AWS infrastructure.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on cloud security and FedRAMP.Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST 800-53 and PCI DSS.Experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security risks.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.CISSP or other relevant security certification is a plus.Experience with Splunk configuration and management.Familiarity with AWS and AWS Security, including AWS Security Best Practices and compliance with AWS security standards
