We are seeking a skilled Data Management and Governance Specialist to contribute to our data governance initiatives and processes. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality, implementing data management tools, and driving data governance projects to success.Key Responsibilities:Data Management and Governance Implementation:** Implement and utilize data management tools such as data quality, business/technical metadata catalogs, and master data management tools and processes.Master Data Management Projects:** Lead or participate in master data management projects, with a focus on company or person disambiguation.Data Integration and Datasets Creation:** Create datasets from disparate sources to support data governance initiatives and processesData Mining and Analysis:** Perform data mining on large datasets to supplement data governance quality improvement initiatives.Technical Proficiency:** Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Python, as well as relational and non-relational databases, including database structures and unstructured databases. Familiarity with graph and other NoSQL databases is preferred.Data Quality Frameworks:** Possess a strong understanding of data quality frameworks within data lifecycle management.Initiative and Resolution:** Drive data quality initiatives and resolutions, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity are maintained.Process Improvement:** Apply experience with process improvement, workflow optimization, benchmarking, and evaluation of business processes to enhance data governance effectiveness.Documentation:** Develop various documents including functional requirements, data quality rules, and policy definitions to support data governance efforts.Required Skills:Extensive knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Data quality activities, tools, and frameworks.Experience reporting on large amounts of data while meeting deliverables.Demonstrated experience with master data management projects, preferably company or person disambiguation.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education and Experience:**Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
