Position Overview:In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Merchandising teams through primary data extraction, refinement, and accuracy assurance of selling event publications. This responsibility will include post-event pricing validation to support systemic cost and allowance compliance at time of invoicing. Your role will assist the Presell Manager in providing periodic reporting and analytics of monthly and seasonal promotional catalogs to support multi-department connections within merchandising, procurement, and sales. This will include sales analytics of the major biannual SpartanNash Food Solutions events.Here's what you'll do:Responsible to develop and lead the promotional offer data extraction, content assemblance, and data delivery to our order portal partner assuring accuracy of all content within Center Store and Fresh departments with adherence to deadlines.Act as primary point of contact to address internal proofing discrepancies within Food Solutions events and the order portal development; provide guidance, solutions and execute an action plan for timely resolution of issues in collaboration with category managers.Collaborate with Presell Manager and various internal departments (i.e., procurement, supply chain, category management) to ensure product is ordered, received, and shipped on defined schedule; problem solve any deviation andor issues to assure customer satisfaction with all retailers.Develop and maintain post-selling event sales analytics and pricing validation to assure billing accuracy to retail customers.Assist Presell team in providing periodic pre-sell reports to category management and external customers to support merchandising and procurement activities. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Here's what you'll need:Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Five years' experience in Merchandising, Category Management, Marketing or related area. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid organizational, prioritization, proofreading and attention to detail skills. Exceptional Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI and DAX data modelsSQL competency recommended: you will interact with the corporate data lake using SnowflakePassion for digesting complexity: you enjoy deciphering complicated processes, simplifying them, and generating actionable insights for business owners.
