Associate, Event ProgrammingSAPinsider | Chelmsford MA or Virtual OfficeThe Role:SAPinsider manages the largest global SAP B2B enterprise technology events in the world attracting 1,000s of paid attendees to each event. The hallmark of SAPinsider events is the depth of content and educational sessions at each event. We leverage deep research first process in developing the ideal content for each event program.The Assoicate, Event Programmer will both support our Directors of Event Content and take the lead on building certain event tracks and sessions of their supporting our Directors, you will learn our event platforms, production processes, speaker management, and more by managing session abstracts, speaker information, and other content tracking activities.You'll also take responsibility for researching and developing agendas, writing session agendas, and recruiting speakers for certain topics. Our Directors will guide and advise you while you learn our best practice content development processes, the SAP market, and specific topic areas.The Assoicate, Event Programmer has 1-3 years of experience in conferences, educational content, research, or editorial roles, is self-motivated, and always puts member attendees and speakers first.Specific Responsibilities Include:Take part in further researching identified industry trends and market opportunities, conduct competitive event analysis, and aggregate information to build out session topics.Identify top potential expert speakers and sponsors for each content areaMeet event support, speaker, and programming timelines and anize, write, and compiles session abstracts and speaker biographies for event websites.Publish session decks and recorded sessions to the website.Manages session elements leading up to the event, including speaker presentations and loading event app content.Ensure smooth execution of event content and provide a high level of customer service throughout both live and virtual events.Perform post-event speaker follow-up, content analysis and reporting metrics.Qualifications and Experience:1-3 years of relevant event programming, editorial, journalism, or research experienceWell-organized with strong time-management and project management abilitiesDirect experience in the B2B enterprise technology market is helpful but not requiredAbility to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writingDesire to learnStrong editorial and communication skillsWillingness to travel 3-5Xyear in US and EuropeWhat We Offer You:As an Assoicate, Event Programmer you will enjoy a competitive base salary with an annual bonus program.
