Job Description: The Client Portfolio Analyst (CPA) plays a vital role in the overall client, consultant, and prospective client experience at IR+M. In partnership with Client Portfolio Manager(s) andor Business Development professional(s), the CPA will provide support, communication, and coordination on all items pertaining to their assigned list of relationships. The CPA is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the IR+M client base, target markets, products, and vehicles to effectively assist in client and market facing efforts. The CPA and CPM will operate as a team, with the CPM having ultimate ownership around the direction and execution of work related to the share client, consultant, or prospective client assignments.Responsibilities:Provide exceptional client service by effectively and expeditiously handling day-to-day requests - both ad-hoc and recurring for an assigned set of clients and consultants.Provide support to assigned CPM(s) andor Business Development Professional(s) to deliver excellence around a diverse range of market facing activities and client service delivery.Work with external and internal participants to coordinate the end-to-end process for client, consultant, and new business meetings, finals presentations, and other meetings supporting the firm's market facing model - including reviewquality control of meeting collateral, logistics, meeting preparation, and other relevant information. Will attend meetings as appropriate and assist in documentation of meeting terface with CST, Investment Team, Product Management Team, Legal, senior management, and other internal partners around custom requests, inquiry follow-through, problem resolution and troubleshooting - demonstrating sound judgement in the escalation of issues to manager as appropriate.Coordinate new client onboarding, existing client contract amendments, and other account modification processes by serving as a conduit between our external clientsconsultants and internal business partners (Investor Services, Operations, LegalCompliance, Investment Team). Ensure timely and smooth completion of standard to complex onboardingaccount modifications across all vehicle types and investment products. Serve as the advocate for our clients while maintaining an awareness of potential internal downstream impacts and communicate accordingly.Oversee and manage the completion of consultant and client data requests - including performance, portfolio characteristics, written portfolio commentary, and monthlyquarterly questionnaires. Assist in the quality review of standard monthly client statements.Act as key in-house resource for clients, consultants, prospects, and internal partners on regular and ad-hoc inquiries, problem researchresolution, and proactive engagements as necessary.Develop a strong working knowledge of assigned client and consultant relationships - namely plan and mandate knowledge, service and reporting requirements, key contacts, along with associated contacts and other constituents involved in the relationship.Act as a resource to the CPM to conduct client, consultant and prospect research as necessary through publicly available information and internal resources to deepen out knowledge base. Act as a back-up to the CPMBusiness Development Professional(s) when they are traveling to ensure timely and accurate response and follow-up to clientsconsultants to meet or exceed expected service levels.The CPA role requires a commitment to be a continues student - to develop a strong working knowledge of the fixed income and overall capital markets, our investment products and vehicle offerings, client base and internal processes to ensure a strong partnership with the CPMBusiness Development Professional to deliver on the Firm's expected standards of service excellence.Utilize the CRM system to input appropriate client detail, activity notes and sales opportunities - ensuring data integrity and seamless information sharing.Assist CST and other functional teams as requested by managers to support special projects, as needed.Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of professional experience (2-3 years of client service experience)Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritizeDirect experience working with institutional clientsFlexibility to juggle multiple projects with an ability to manage tight deadlinesSuperb attention to detailSuperior communication skills - written and verbalStrong problem solving skillsGeneral understanding of fixed income concepts, with interest in learning more about fixed income and the marketsSelf-motivatedTeam player - very strong team environment exists at IR+MEnthusiastic contributor and eagerness to develop skill setExcel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg expertise a plusEducation Requirement:Bachelor's degree required; progress towards CFA or MBA a plusWhat we offer you:Joining the IR+M team is an opportunity to experience a unique and exciting culture and work environment. Base Salary Range:$90,000-$115,000Annual Performance Bonus:This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus
