If you are a self-led, energetic professional, Honeywell currently has an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your technical and customer skills in a key role as a Field Service Technician in our Jackson, MI office. Does enter residential homes. Candidate will have access to company vehicle; if one is not available mileage reimbursement can be done via weekly expense report. Performs installation of demand response switches on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under limited supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal. Key Responsibilities: Establish contact with customers to explain program benefits. Field operations experience with product installation knowledge. Overcome customer objectives and concerns . Strong work ethic, with ability to self-manage daily work schedule and performance, with limited supervision. Must have: High school Diploma Excellent oral and communication skills. Valid driver's license. Demonstrated manual dexterity and skill with hand tools. We Value: Technical Degree Technical aptitude. Experience with HVAC and/or residential wiring. Proficient with MS Outlook and Teams.
