Job Description

LHH is seeking a Human Resources Director for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client near Columbus, Indiana. In this role, you will lead a team of HR staff across two locations, support the strategic direction of the organization, and assist with the growing staffing model. This role will involve the leadership and oversight of the entire range of HR administration and employee relations from recruitment, onboarding, talent development, policy creation and administration, and strategic organizational planning. The compensation is $135,000-160,000 plus bonus and includes a comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.***H1BVisa Sponsorship is not available for this position***JOB RESPONSIBILITIESImplement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AAEEO compliance, etc.Ensure staffing of qualified employees by developing and managing the recruitment, interview, selection, and on-boarding processesServe as a liaison between our management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issuesOrganize and lead the team at assigned locations by communicating expectations, conducting planning meetings, monitoring work, assessing results, enforcing policies, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are being achievedDevelop and facilitate onboarding training programs and ongoing trainings for all employees for professional development, leadership, and management skillsEvaluate and recommend training resources to support employee developmentOrganize and administer company-wide performance management programQUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management andor Ethics, or related field is required (Master's Degree is preferred)SHRM Certification is preferredMinimum of 15 years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environment is requiredMinimum of 10 years of management experience leading a Human Resources Team is requiredMust have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packagesMust possess strong leadership abilitiesMust possess the ability to understand business financials and how HR can impact themMust have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviorsMust have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive prioritiesH1B Sponsorship is not available for this positionIf you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this Human Resources Director Job near Columbus, IN, please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.Equal Opportunity EmployerVeteransDisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
