    We currently have a career opportunity for a Healthcare Solutions Architect to join our team.   While Perficient's headquarters are in St. Louis, MO, this role is remote and candidates can be located anywhere in the continental US, with some travel if client requires.   Job Overview:     A Solutions Architect is expected to be knowledgeable in two or more technologies within (a given Solutions/Practice area). The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, client presales / presentation, team management and thought leadership skills.   You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.   You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. Own and aggressively drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation. Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains. Lead projects within architecture. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features. Project and solution estimation and team structure definition. Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions. Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production. Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks. Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications. Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams. Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions. Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs. Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change. Must have extensive experience working in the healthcare data domain, with significant strength working with Health Plan/Payer organizations, and have a solid understanding of how data and analytics solutions have and can solve some of the more complex issues facing healthcare payers.  Must have superb verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present, negotiate and gain agreement for solutions/concepts from other technical and business leaders, stakeholders, and architects. Must have experience and comfort working directly with and for C-level and VP-level stakeholders.  Must have experience leading and managing delivery teams which span multiple workstreams with aggregate team size of 15+ team members. Experience leading the definition and delivery for ODS, data lake, data warehouse, and data management solutions, both on premises and in the cloud. Leadership and team management experience, including providing strategic planning and oversight. Experience in a professional services / consulting firm.   Possess a solid, hands-on understanding and experience with both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Significant experience in defining new solution architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point. Strong experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices. Proven track record of playing leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes. Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams. Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Must be independent and self-driven. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Preferred skills and education: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090.
