Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license in hand at the time of application. • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Any returning travelers within 1 year will not require orientation classes. Please make sure to indicate this on your submission. 1 to 2 call shifts/week and 1 weekend/6 weeks. Assist physician with interventional neuro, vascular, CT/US guided procedures. Siemens single and Bi-plane equipment & McKesson PACS. Must be proficient in scrubbing as first assist to physician, along with circulating, filming & charging exams in EPIC. Required: IR with skill in VIR. RTO - must be presented at time of submission. Any time off sent after the offer will not be approved. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler MOST units require level 1 trauma experience Background Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits or background hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected. If your traveler is booked with a background hit, they can expect to be cancelled during the compliance process. PLEASE READ: For this health system- we MUST know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile in order to check their eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility at UK is checked by HR every Friday and should this eligibility check come back as ineligible post-offer, your traveler may be cancelled.
