Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!What you get to do: In our Food and Beverage Service Ambassador role, you'll ensure a great eating experience for our guests in a variety of venues, including restaurants, carts/kiosks, specialty snack carts, coffee shops, dessert stations, etc. You will deliver great guest service in a fun, fast-paced, one-of-a-kind environment . Wherever you serve, you will :Provide exemplary guest service and ensure F&B service standards are metPerform general food prep work including but not limited to preparing produce, desserts, entrees, snacks, and other basic menu itemsEnsure correct portions of food and beverage are serviced at correct temperatures with proper plate presentationProcess and serve hot and cold food items for guests in a timely and courteous manner while maintaining food quality and sanitation standardsPerform general housekeeping tasks including wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes and other duties as assigned in both the guest dining areas, kitchen and back areasCommunicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our GuestsFollow SEA menu guidelines to specifications and serving proceduresAccurately process monetary transactions following proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the cash handling policiesUnload daily product from the warehouse deliveriesWhat it takes to succeed:A passion for customer serviceExcellent multi-tasking and time management skillsOutstanding communication abilitiesActive listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needsFlexibility to perform varied duties Interested candidates must be available weekends in November thru 1/7/24 (please note that the park is open daily from 12/22-1/2 and the candidate must be open to working during that period) What else is important: At least 15 years of age Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and cold temperatures Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines#INDSPLThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
