Responsibilities for this role will span across data engineering, data science, MLOps, analytics services, database administration (DBA), business intelligence (BI), and automation. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines, platforms, and workflows to support data-driven decision-making.Key AccountabilitiesData Ops Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for data operations, aligning it with overall business goals. Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, including data engineers, data scientists, and analysts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards, best practices, and governance.Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing data. Optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance. Work with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).Data Science and MLOps (Machine Learning Operations): Enable seamless deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production. Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize ML workflows. Implement version control, model tracking, and automated testing for ML pipelines.Analytics Services: Define and manage analytics services and platforms, including reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis. Ensure timely delivery of actionable insights to stakeholders. Monitor KPIs and performance metrics related to data analytics.Database Administration (DBA) Services: Oversee database management, performance tuning, and security. Maintain data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with DBAs to optimize database schemas and queries.Data Integration Services: Oversee data integration services and delivery.
